This last week was probably the best week of my life. It was really neat to be in a city where so many people are willing to take a track or talk to you about the gospel. I was ina quite a few situations that were new to me. For instance on Friday, we were passing out tracks and singing across the street from Radio City Music Hall, and 3 Satan worshippers came up and were talking to me and my friend. They invited us to a heavy metal concert. We politely declined. I was really convicted this past week to spend more time in God's word. I thought I knew alot of the Bible, but I was so wrong. People would ask me questions, or say things to me, and I would not have a clue what to say. Some of my friends were convicted about the same thing, so we are trying to be more accountable to each other about it, and talk about God more, instead of things that don't matter in light of eternity. Another thing I learned was about Christ fulfills the entire old covenant. All the sacrifices and everything else were fulfilled in Him(or wll be fulfilled by Him). Well, that's all for now. I'll try to post some pictures, if I get the time.

fugureskater, i loved the jones. dr. jones is brilliant. he knows so much about the Bible and about other religions. he did talk alot about the ark.
elimelech, i don't think you're the last person to know about this blog, since about 4 people come to it.
and about the guys, we tried to talk about the gospel, but they weren't really interested. they were kind of making fun of us, by pretending they were interested. one of the guys asked us to quote the ten commandments and a couple of verses that were in the tract that we gave him. and he also asked us about Jesus and mary magdalene (because of the davinci code). other than that, i don't think anything they said is worth repeating.
i know what you mean about not knowing as much as you thought about the Bible. the same thing happened to me in canada. thankfully God supplied a suffient answer and someone else was there to help me but i was also convicted.miss you!
I too would like to talk to guys like that, in a well lit, well populated area, because i would have some questions for them as well. . .I did hear about this one guy who was an ex-satan worshiper and he has a very interesting story, including some of the reasons he quit
we were in a well lit area when we talked, so i felt surprisingly safe.
the davinci code came up when we said that Jesus was a perfect man. i also wish that i had read the book. my pastor had preached a couple of messages that had to do with it, so that helped. but it would have been nice to know a little more specifically what happened in the book.
